ISO 9001 is an internationally valid certification that covers quality management systems to set companies on the path to achieving results in line with market expectations. It serves to create an organisational framework within the company with requirements that comply with the ISO 9001 standard.
ISO 18001 is an international certification to guarantee that there is a system in place to manage Employee Health and Safety. It certifies voluntary application within an organisation of a system to guarantee suitable controls of Employee Health and Safety, as well as compliance with the relevant standards.
HACCP certification testifies to a self-control system that every operator in the food industry needs to put in place in order to assess and estimate risks and hazards and to set up control measures to prevent the occurrence of health and hygiene problems, monitoring the whole production and distribution line of the food.
IFS has the purpose of promoting efficient food supplier sourcing for major retail channels, based on their ability to provide safe produce that conforms to contractual specifications and legal requirements. It is a recognised model in Europe and the rest of the world.
